Against Intolerance and Sectarianism, For a Civil State

What happened in Imbaba on the 7th of May represents a dangerous turning point regarding the problem of sectarianism. It threatens the nation’s existence and the future of Egypt and is part of a plan to strike at the Egyptian Revolution, preventing the completion of its goals. The powerful forces of the counter-revolution have not stopped since the investigations of the corrupt leaders and their verdicts. Destabilization attempts continue in light of relaxed security and absence of the state. Likewise, some of the media have not attempted objective reporting but instead play with the fire of sectarianism in order to burn the country.
